Product Description
The EPP1111-0000 EtherCAT P box is designed by Beckhoff Automation, a renowned engineering company with more than 35 years of experience. The product is built to supplement and improve on the EtherCAT communication technology. It features three decimal ID switches for assigning an ID to a group of EtherCAT industrial components. EtherCAT components used with this product can be present in any position in the EtherCAT P network; this product ensures the realization of variable topologies and hot connect groups in a simple manner. The EtherCAT P connection is established on this device through a shielded P-Codded M8 screw type sockets with a direct display of link and activity status. The Run LED also indicates the connection status of the product in real-time.
The EPP1111-0000 EtherCAT P box operates with a nominal voltage of about 24 volts although a deviation of 15 to 20 percent in the voltage is allowed. During operation, the average data transfer rate is about 100 megabits per second, and the relative distance between stations is about 100 meters. This product does not require any configuration, as soon as it is delivered, it can be plugged in and used. The housing of this device is black, it has a width of about 30 millimeters, a Height of 126 millimeters and a Depth of approximately 26.5 millimeters. The product also weights 0.165 kilograms.
The EPP1111-0000 EtherCAT P Box requires a power supply of 24 volts; it does not require any sensor supply. The recommended operating temperature falls between -25 to 60 degrees, although the storage temperature can be as high as 85 degrees. The product can also withstand harsh industrial conditions, from high shocks and vibrations to the presence of dust and other foreign interference.
