The EPP1008-0002 EtherCAT P BOX module is one of the most sophisticated productions of the reputable Beckhoff Automation. It is a connection accessory that is built to improve upon the EtherCAT communication technology. This module box improves connection by providing electrical isolation and eliminating any unwanted alternating current in the control cabinet. Binary control signals are received through the digital input interface present on this product, isolated and transferred to the controller. This signal connection is established through the screw-type M12 connectors present on the product. The M12 connectors feature a locking mechanism that keeps connections in place and makes it less likely that they will come loose by change. This makes sure that the electrical link is stable and reduces the risk of shock and short circuits. The connector also provides impressive EMI/RFI shielding to prevent signal disruptions.
