The EP2816-0008 EtherCAT Box from Beckhoff provides reliable and versatile digital output control via its 16 robust channels. As part of the established EP Digital Input Series, it couples industrial-grade construction with leading-edge communication capabilities. Each output channel supplies 0.5 A of current while maintaining protection against short circuits. This allows connection of various devices up to the module's total 4 A limit. Channels function safely even in demanding industrial environments, as the polyamide housing withstands temperatures from -25°C to 60°C with IP65/66/67 immunity to dust and moisture.

Beckhoff designed the EP2816-0008 for intuitive use through the open EtherCAT protocol.
