Product Description
The Beckhoff EL6070 EtherCAT terminal is a hardware license key that enables the management of TwinCAT 3.1 software licenses within Beckhoff's modular EtherCAT I/O system. Beckhoff, a trusted name in industrial automation, designed the EL6070 to streamline license management in automation environments and ensure efficient integration with existing EtherCAT-based infrastructures.
The EL6070 features a local data memory of 1 MByte that is used to store TwinCAT 3.1 license files. The terminal draws about 120 mA from the E-Bus and ensures great electrical safety by isolating the E-Bus from the field voltage at 500 V. The terminal meets the strict vibration and shock resistance criteria set by EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27. The Beckhoff terminal has a working temperature of -25 degrees C to +60 degrees C and can be stored at -40 degrees C to +85 degrees C. This wide temperature range enables the terminal to operate reliably in a variety of situations, to provide consistent performance throughout time. The EL6070 terminal measures 12 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm and is designed to be installed on a standard 35 mm DIN rail to make it compatible with the majority of industrial systems. Rated IP20, the terminal offers protection against dust and particles.
The Beckhoff EtherCAT terminal also fulfills EMC standards EN 61000-6-2 for immunity and EN 61000-6-4 for emission to ensure that it meets stringent industrial specifications. The EL6070 EtherCAT terminal is also ATEX, IECEx, and cFMus approved for usage in hazardous locations that allows for greater deployment options. These certifications guarantee that the EL6070 meets rigorous safety standards. This makes it a reliable option for various industrial automation setups. We offer a one-year replacement warranty and provide global shipment for our products.
