Beckhoff EtherCAT terminal EL6930-0000 is part of the EL EtherCAT Terminal Series that has been developed to act as a Safety Interface for safe input and output signals. In its capacity as a link unit, this terminal guarantees safe signal exchange between the devices relevant to safety and the EtherCAT network. Its solid construction complies with the requirements of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 and Category 4 PL e confirming that it is suitable for applications where safety is critical in the industrial environment.
