Product Description
The EL6851-0010 is a DMX slave terminal designed for use within an EtherCAT network, specifically enabling the integration of DMX devices. It allows for efficient control and monitoring of DMX devices, ensuring smooth operation in various environments. The terminal can receive up to 512 bytes of data, making it capable of handling extensive DMX communication. Users can easily configure the start address and data length through CoE objects, ensuring flexibility in setup. It is designed to utilize RS485 physical layer communication. This configuration supports data transfer rates of up to 250 kbit, allowing for smooth and efficient data exchange between devices.
This slave terminal operates with a line impedance of 120 Ω, ensuring signal integrity and reduced reflection in the communication line. It receives power through the E-bus, allowing for a streamlined setup without the need for additional power sources. The terminal utilizes the DMX512 protocol, enabling efficient and reliable transmission of data. It comes with a switchable termination resistor to improve signal integrity, especially in longer cables, preventing disruptions in communication. This terminal can connect to a maximum of 32 bus devices without the need for a repeater, allowing for a compact and efficient setup in DMX control systems.
The EL6851-0010 terminal has 130 mA rated consumption from the E-bus. This low power requirement makes it energy-efficient and suitable for use in various setups. It operates optimally within a temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It can also operate reliably in humidity levels of up to 95% provided that it is not exposed to moisture. Its electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is in line with EN 61000-6-2 for immunity and EN 61000-6-4 for emissions. The terminal has a protection rating of IP20, allowing for flexible installation options.
