The EL6751-1005 is an EtherCAT terminal by Beckhoff that is designed to serve as a CANopen master. It features a versatile and compact design that is easy to handle and install in diverse automation setups. It features a locking mechanism for added stability when mounting on 35 mm DIN rails, preventing accidental disconnection. Its 70-gram weight and compact 24 mm x 100 mm x 52 mm dimensions also make it possible to mount this terminal alongside other terminals in the control cabinet in a side-by-side orientation. This flexibility allows users to utilize their working space efficiently based on their system configuration.

The terminal features polycarbonate housing ensuring a long service life and stable performance even in difficult conditions. It offers exceptional resistance to mechanical stresses, complying with EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 vibration and shock standards. The terminal offers an easy monitoring experience with its hardware diagnostics facilitated by status LEDs. These LEDs offer useful visual feedback about the status of the terminal allowing users to easily identify the status of the CANopen network. It utilizes a D-sub connector with 9 pins to connect to CANopen devices, ensuring ease of integration with other equipment.

The EL6751-1005 offers flexible communication speeds, ranging from slow to very high speeds in the range of 10 kbaud to 1,000 kbaud. This ensures adaptability to various application demands, allowing users to select speeds that are most appropriate for their systems for optimal performance and efficiency. The terminal utilizes one fieldbus channel, allowing for streamlined communication with one CANopen network. It should be operated in ambient conditions in the -25°C to +60°C range but storage conditions can be as low as -40°C without impacting the durability of the terminal.
