Beckhoff EtherCAT terminal EL6731-1009 is a high-performance part that solves the compatibility between EtherCAT and PROFIBUS DP networks, being a cost-effective and efficient option for the industry. This terminal is a part of Beckhoff’s EL EtherCAT Terminal Series and enables easy interoperability between EtherCAT systems and PROFIBUS DP devices. It implements both the PROFIBUS DP and DP-V2 protocols so as to interface with different devices and applications. There is a 9 pin D sub socket on the terminal to connect the terminal to the PROFIBUS network and different baud rates from 9.6 kbaud and 12Mbaud are supported to accommodate different industrial requirements. Designed to handle up to 125 slaves, the EL6731-1009 is perfect for use in complex Big Systems connecting multiple devices into one network.
