The EL3751-0000 is designed for precise voltage and current measurement in industrial applications. It offers a wide measuring range and high accuracy which is characteristic of the Beckhoff range of EtherCAT terminals. This module features one input, allowing for the connection of a single sensor or a measuring device at a time. This design simplifies setup while providing accurate readings for the selected sensor type. The terminal supports a voltage measurement range from ±5 mV to ±30 V. For current measurement, it accommodates ±20 mA, and is compatible with NAMUR NE43 sensors, providing flexibility for various industrial applications.

The EL3751-0000 receives its power supply via the E-bus, ensuring efficient operation without the need for additional power sources. This integration simplifies installation and reduces wiring requirements, making it ideal for use in compact control systems. The terminal has an internal resistance greater than 500 kΩ for measurements up to 30 V, ensuring minimal impact on the circuit being measured. For other voltage ranges, the internal resistance exceeds 4 MΩ. This high resistance reduces loading effects on the input signals, ensuring high accuracy in measurements.

This terminal’s input filter limit frequency is 3 kHz, which helps to reduce noise and unwanted signals in the measurements. It offers a 24-bit resolution enabling it to capture highly detailed measurements, providing precise data for monitoring and control applications. The unit provides electrical isolation of 500 V between the E-bus and signal voltage. This isolation enhances safety by protecting the device from voltage spikes, ensuring reliability in demanding industrial environments. The terminal has a relatively low power requirement of 260 mA from the E-bus.
