The EL3174-0090 is one of the EL EtherCAT terminals designed by the reputable Beckhoff Automation company to provide customers with the opportunity to establish decentralized connections in the industrial communication system. The product is an analog EtherCAT terminal; it contains four analog inputs, each of which can be parameterized individually and can process input current that is between -20 to about +20 amperes. The inputs can also operate with voltage signals that exist between -10 to about 10 volts. The EL3174-0090 does not generate any noise during operation. It is designed for indoor operation and should be installed inside a control cabinet that meets the IP54 protection rating.Unlike conventional terminals, this product can function at a top level for a very long time without any need for repair or maintenance operation. The Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) of this product is measured to be significantly greater than 800,000 hours. The bit width of the process image of this product is 35 bytes for the inputs and 6 bytes for the outputs. There is no need for configuration settings for the EL3174-0090 EtherCAT terminal.

The EL3174-0090 is measured to weigh about 65 grams; its housing is made from polycarbonate, which provides it with high mechanical and thermal stability. During operation, the ambient temperature around this product should remain between -25 to about +60 degrees; this temperature can be as high as 85 degrees during storage. Under normal operation, it does not generate too much heat, its temperature is easily regulated through a passive natural convection process.
