The EL2809-0015 digital output terminal features an innovative design that allows for increased packing density with 16 connection points housed within a compact 12 mm terminal block. This efficient arrangement maximizes the use of limited space in control cabinets or enclosures, enabling the integration of numerous connections without the need for larger terminal blocks. This Beckhoff terminal facilitates the connection of different load types, including ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads. Its 16 digital outputs are designed to facilitate the seamless control of various actuators in automation applications. Utilizing a 1-wire connection technology, the terminal enables efficient wiring with a compact footprint, streamlining the installation process. The 1-wire configuration is particularly beneficial when connecting multi-channel actuators, reducing the amount of space required for cabling.
Each channel on the EL2809-0015 can handle a maximum output current of 0.35 A, providing adequate power for various actuators while ensuring efficient operation.
