The EL2809-0000 by Beckhoff features 16 outputs that allow for extensive control of multiple actuators from a single terminal. The outputs are overload and short-circuit proof which enhance the safety and reliability of the system. In case of an overload or a short circuit, the outputs will automatically shut down to prevent damage to the terminal and connected devices. Additionally, the outputs also feature reverse polarity protection to safeguard against incorrect wiring. The terminal offers a 0.5 A maximum output current per channel, ensuring that the outputs can effectively drive loads without overheating.

The EL2809-0000 terminal is designed for tool-free connection by direct plug-in technology for solid wire conductors. It allows users to quickly and easily connect wiring without the need for additional tools, streamlining the installation process. It features a 1-wire connection technology that optimizes space utilization in compact installations.
