Product Description

The EL2535-0000 is a unique and very durable output terminal from Beckhoff Automation, which carries out the control of the output current through the pulse width control of the supply voltage delivered to the device. The output terminal present on this device is electrically isolated from the E-bus; they are also protected against overload and damage caused by short-circuiting. There are two major channels present on this output terminal; the signal state at each of these channels is indicated by special LEDs integrated into the device. The LEDs also communicate the typical load and any wiring fault in the communication system. Unlike other control terminal designs, this product integrates a Pulse Width Modulation output stage, which is used to regulate the output current of connected ohmic and inductive loads.

The EL2535-0000 industrial Terminal unit is designed to be used with a minimum load inductance of 1 millihenry, the operation of the product with pulse width current terminals at loads with an inductance less than 1 millihenry is not recommended since the intermitted current flow present reference between the set value and the arithmetic mean of the current. The permissible ambient temperature suited for the operation of this product is between 0 to 55 degrees Celsius; the product does not have any internal temperature regulation system. The heat generated during the operation of this product is reliably dissipated through natural convection.

The EL2535-0000 is equipped with a pluggable wiring interface; during operation, it maintains a resolution of about 10 bits. It is also equipped with Reverse voltage protection. The material used to design the housing of this product is made from polycarbonate. The total weight of this terminal is about 50 grams.
