The EK1828 coupler from Beckhoff has a compact design and comes with four digital inputs and eight digital outputs. The E-bus has a current supply rating of 1,000mA. This product features breaking energy of less than 150mJ per channel. The EMC immunity conforms to EN61000-6-2 specifications. It has a typical input filter of 3ms. The unit does not feature any distributed clock. The device makes use of Ethernet Cat-5 cables as its transmission medium. The coupler is encased in a modern high-density housing. The product is capable of supplying a voltage of up to 5V or 1,000mA current to the connected terminals. The device can be shipped to your address anywhere in the world.
The unit supports conductor connection through a direct plug-in technique. The length of the cable used to connect this coupler to another EtherCAT device must not be more than 100m.
