The EK1818 EtherCAT coupler from Beckhoff Automation GmBH is a part of its EK1800 series of devices of the same type. This product is integrated with four digital outputs and eight digital inputs. The unit features a data transfer rate of 100Mbaud. It has several LEDs for diagnosing the power supply, the EtherCAT state machine/PLC, the Fieldbus as well as the digital inputs and outputs.
