The EK1501-0000 is an EtherCAT coupler designed by Beckhoff to supplement the EtherCAT communication system developed by the company in 2003. This product serves as the link between the EtherCAT protocol and fieldbus level and the EtherCAT Terminals. The Coupler does not change the process data stream; instead, it is designed for coupling EtherCAT terminals to 100BASE-FX EtherCAT networks. It also carries out identity verification during the coupling process. This product has two SC duplex sockets and three hexadecimal ID switches.
