The EK1300-0000 is an EtherCAT P coupler from a reputable company designed to integrate the EtherCAT Terminals into the EtherCAT P network. The coupler converts the passing telegrams from the Ethernet 100BASE-TX to E-bus signal representation in the communication system. There are two P-coded M8 sockets integrated into the coupler as the connection technology. The upper Socket connects the product to the EtherCAT network while the lower P-coded Socket serves as an optional interface for the continuation of the EtherCAT P topology.

The EK1300-0000 does not consume too much power during operation, the power supply required by this product for optimum operation is approximately 24 volts. The total current provided from the EtherCAT P is about 3 amperes; however, through the E-bus, about 2000 milliampere of current can be supplied. The maximum electrical isolation voltage of this product is about 500 volts. To protect the product from overheating, the operating ambient temperature around it should be maintained between 0 to about 55 degrees Celsius. Also, the storage temperature is recommended to be kept between -24 to +85 degrees Celsius.
