The EJ7211-9414 serves as a one-channel motion interface for servomotors in industrial automation applications. It Is designed to use the EtherCAT protocol, ensuring high-speed communication and efficient data handling in various automation systems. Its compatibility with EtherCAT ensures that it can operate effectively within complex networks. The module features a direct motor connection with One Cable Technology (OCT). This permits streamlined installation and seamless integration for system efficiency. The unit is equipped with one channel, enabling precise control of a single servomotor. This allows users to efficiently manage motion control tasks that do not require multiple channels.
This module supports two end position inputs, one feedback input, and one Safe Torque Off (STO) input. The two end position inputs allow for precise detection of the servomotor's operational limits, ensuring safe and accurate movement to predetermined positions. The feedback input provides real-time data regarding the motor's performance while the STO input enhances safety by allowing for immediate motor deactivation. The module has a single servomotor output and one motor brake output. It provides an output voltage of 24 VDC for the motor brake, ensuring effective and reliable braking for connected servo motors. It can deliver a maximum output current of 0.5 A for the motor brake.
The EJ7211-9414 supports a peak current of a maximum of 9.0 A (rms) for up to 1 second, allowing it to handle short bursts of higher demand during dynamic motion conditions. It has a typical current consumption of 130 mA and provides a 500 V isolation for enhanced safety and reliability. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of 0 to +55°C and can be stored in -25 to +85°C conditions. This wide operating temperature accommodates various industrial environments.
