Product Description

Like other CX series, this PC is used in combination with I/O modules to present you with a space-saving control system in a control cabinet. The DIN rails ensure that you only add components that the task requires. This significantly reduces space installation space and cost. The CX9020-0115 can be tailored to meet your budget, task complexity, and performance class. It can be plugged in with other systems in a modular control design enabling you to realize different applications using the same hardware. This Beckhoff embedded PC combines Industrial PC and hardware PLC making it ideal for all control tasks.

The CX9020-0115 is designed for applications that require characteristics and computing capabilities of Industrial PCs. It has an integrated I/O system that enables it to automatically identify the bus system (K-bus or E-bus) and independently switch accordingly. Its CPU has two internal switched RJ45 interfaces, four USB 2.0 interfaces, one DVI-D interface, and an optional interface. The multi optional interface can potentially support CANopen, PROFIBUS, audio interface, RS232, and many more. It features a Windows Embedded Compact 7 OS and a TwinCAT 3 (XAR) runtime environment. The TwinCAT software enables system configuration and programming of the PLC functionality.

This Beckhoff control system comes with a 1 GHz ARM Cortex processor, flash memory with two microSD slots, 128 KB NOVRAM integrated persistent memory, and 1 GB DDR3 RAM main memory. It features a power supply of 24 VDC and a maximum power consumption of 5W (9 W with loading UPS).
