Product Description:
The CX8030 is a controller equipped with a PROFIBUS master interface to ensure seamless connection with peripheral devices. It also features an Ethernet interface. The design of this product is done by highly trained personnel from Beckhoff Automation; it has been tested before it is delivered, and it is tested and certified to meet international quality standards. The processor embedded in this PC unit with the Arm9 processor, this processor features only a single core and operates with a clock frequency estimated to be about 400 megahertz. The main memory of this unit has a capacity of about 64 megabytes; this memory unit is not expandable and is accessible to the processor unit. The ethernet interface integrated into this unit supports a data transmission rate as high as 100 megabits per second; there is also a bus interface and USB interface present on the controller.
The CX8030 controller contains three diagnostic LEDs; one of these communicates the PC status, while the other two are designed to communicate the bus status. There is an internal battery-backed clock in this product. The clock helps the processor keep track of date and time; its operation is supported by an exchangeable internal battery, which is located behind the front flap of the unit.
