The CX5140-0163 embedded PC comes from the CX5140 series. The embedded PC has the Intel Atom processor with four separate cores . Each core has a 1.91 GHz clock speed. This allows the rapid processing of data and allows a lag-free operation in intense industrial environments. With minimum power requirements, the PC comes with a fanless design. The system comes with slots for flash memory. Flash memory can be utilized through slots for CFast and MicroSD. In addition, an inbuilt 4 GB RAM (DDR3 type) is also provided. Because of superior quality, the CX5140-0163 has approvals from UL, ATEX, and CE. A UPS is also provided so that the PC’s operation is not disrupted in case of a power outage.

The CX5140-0163 is protected as per IP 20 standard protection. Furthermore, the embedded PC can operate without any problem in conditions with up to 95% relative humidity. The system uses different versions of Microsoft Windows as an operating system. With a 24 volts DC power supply and maximum power consumption of 16 W, the system is suitable for use in small and large scale industries. The CX5140-0163 has a 960 g weight and its vibration and shock resistance is in compliance with European standards. Lastly, the PC remains largely unaffected from electromagnetic waves because it has an EN compliant EMC immunity.
