Product Description
The CX5140-0155 is an embedded PC with low power consumption from Beckhoff Automation. The CPU of the system has several interfaces such as two PCI lanes for the Gigabit Ethernet controllers and a serial interface. The battery compartment is housed under the front flap. The product has a power supply rating of 24VDC. The device must be stored between a temperature range of -40°C and +85°C. The nameplate attached to the housing displays the MAC addresses of the Ethernet ports. The product can execute complex multi-axis functions. This CX5100 series embedded PC supports a warranty period of one year.
The unit can be used to control multiple servo axes based on the required sampling time. The system incorporates a quad-core 1.9GHz Intel Atom processor along with a compact and fanless design. The RJ45 Ethernet interfaces help in connecting the device to the internet or local networks. The USB interfaces are of Type A with USB 2.0 specification and a maximum current rating of 500mA for each interface. The system runs on 64-bit Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LSTB operating system and supports TwinCAT 3 runtime (XAR) control software.
The speed LED of the Ethernet interface does not light up if the connection speed is 10Mbits. The LED lights up in green and red if the speeds are 100Mbits and 1,000Mbits respectively. The DVI-D interface can be used for the transfer of digital data and can be connected to digital displays. The product can be set to a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The resolution achieved depends on multiple factors such as cable quality, monitor and cable length. The DisplayPort helps to transfer audio signals and images at the same time. The embedded PC can be shipped to any address in the world.
