The CX5140-0113 is an embedded PC with a 1.9GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor from Beckhoff Automation GmbH. It operates as a control system. The embedded PC belongs to the CX5100 series of offerings from the manufacturer. The compact device features low power consumption with no extension modules and fans. The system can be used to implement PLC or PLC/motion control projects with or without visualization. It also helps to execute motion control applications using interpolating axis movements. The device comes with a one-year warranty period.
The power contacts have a maximum current load of 10A and a maximum power loss of 14W. The device has a dielectric strength of 500V and 256MB shared graphics memory. It has a shock resistance of 1,000 shocks in 3 axes in each direction as per EN60068-2-27 specifications. The RJ45 ethernet interfaces can be used to connect the product to the internet or local networks and the unit comes with 4GB non-expandable RAM. The embedded PC should be installed in a housing with IP54 protection class. The USB plug connectors should be secured with cable ties to the retainer brackets. The embedded PC must be protected from mechanical stress during transport and must always be transported and stored in its original packaging. It is CE Certified and cULus Listed. There must be a gap of at least 30mm above and below the product when installed horizontally on a mounting rail in the control cabinet. The system should be dismantled completely before it is disposed of. The disposal of the electronic components must be carried out as per the regulations of the national electronic waste governance body.
