The CX series of embedded PCs is designed for applications that require characteristics of Industrial PCs in a cost-effective way. It is manufactured by Beckhoff Company. The CX5130-0150 embedded PC features an Intel Atom® dual-core processor with a 1.75GHZ clock rate. It is characterized by a fanless design and low power consumption capability making it an economical alternative for various projects. The compact design saves space in the control panel reducing the cost of space.

The CX5130-0150 features a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 64 bit operating system, a battery-powered internal clock, and K-bus or E-bus automatic recognition I/O connection. A 2A current is supplied to the E-bus or K-bus connection. The interfaces available in this PC are 2 Gigabit-capable Ethernet interfaces, four USB 2.0, a DIV connection and an optional interface. The optional interface allows further gateway options and connection options. This can include CANopen, PROFIBUS, or RS232 interfaces. Memory storage consists of 4 GB DDR3 RAM as main memory, integrated 1-sec UPS for persistent memory, and slots for CFast and microSD cards for flash memory (cards not included).

The permissible conditions include a relative humidity of 95% without condensation, operating temperature of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius, and a storage temperature of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The CX5130-0150 has a protection class of IP 20. It should be mounted in an IP 54 control cabinet to protect it from damage.
