Beckhoff manufactures the CX5130-0142 embedded PC under the CX product range. It comes with an Intel Atom® dual-core processor with a clock rate of 1.75GHZ. The interfaces found in the embedded PC resemble those of the CX5000 series. It is designed for low power consumption and comes in a fanless design. Some of the interfaces found in this type include a DVI connection, Ethernet and USB connections. For further connections, there is the provision of an option interface where you can connect PROFIBUS, CANopen, and other interfaces.

The CX5130-0142 embedded PC comes with a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 32-bit operating system and a TwinCAT 2 NC PTP runtime environment. It can, therefore, be used for PLC control without visualization thanks to the TwinCAT runtime environment. Some of its technical data include a flash memory consisting of a Micro SD and CFast slot (cards not included), main memory of 4 GB DDR3 RAM that is not expandable, and diagnostic LEDs for power, TC status, flash access, and bus status. The CX5130-0142 utilizes a 24 V DC (-15%/+20%) power supply. The PC has automatic recognition for K-bus and E-bus connections. There are two cores in this Beckhoff embedded PC.
