The CX5120-0123 is a feature-laden embedded PC produced by the company. This PC has superior processing capabilities due to its Intel Atom® E3815, 1.46 GHz single-core processor. The system uses the TwinCAT 2 NC I runtime control software and comes with the Windows embedded 7 P operating system.

For ease of user operation, the system comes with multiple diagnostic LED lights that include 1  power, 1  TC status, 1 flash access, and 2  bus status lights. Furthermore, this IPC can automatically recognize the I/O type that is plugged-in. Due to the presence of EtherCAT, many extension options can be utilized that include: further master/slave Fieldbus connections (PROFIBUS, CANopen, DeviceNet, etc.) and communication interfaces (RS232, RS422/RS485) as well as all other signal types supported by EtherCAT can be directly connected as EtherCAT Terminals. The CX5120-0123’s dimensions are 124 mm x 100 mm x 92 mm (W x H x D) and it weighs approximately 860 g. For memory,  2 GB of DDR3 RAM storage is provided that can be extended by the use of a MicroSD card. With its high durability, the CX5120-0123 comes as a very economical choice for a wide range of motion control and PLC applications.
