The Beckhoff CX5020-1120 is an Embedded PC with a K-bus interface for bus terminals. To connect with other devices on the industrial floor, the PC features two RJ45 ports with a speed of up to 100 Mbit/s, has one DVI-D port, four USB ports, and a single optional interface. The CX5020-1120 utilizes the Windows Embedded Standard 2009** operating system, and is powered by an Intel Atom Z530 processor. The processor supports hyperthreading technology which increases its performance up to 30 percent.
The CX5020-1120 features diagnostic LEDs to help monitor and troubleshoot various aspects of the computer such as the bus status, power, flash access, among others. To help the embedded computer adapt to application requirements on the industrial floor, it supports accessories such as an additional expandable memory that can carry a Compact Flash card of up to 8 Gigabytes and a 1 GB DDR2 RAM.
