The CX5020-0115 embedded PC from Beckhoff Automation is designed for top rail installation in a terminal box or a control cabinet. The system is a good choice for the implementation of PLC/motion control or PLC projects with or without visualization. The unit is fitted with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom® Z530 processor that incorporates hyperthreading technology. This makes the single core of the processor function as two virtual CPU cores so that the software is executed effectively. This device is one of the CX5000 series of embedded PCs from the manufacturer. The PC comes with a warranty period of one year.
The embedded device offers LED diagnostics for its power supply, bus status, flash access and TC status. The system also has an internal battery-backed clock that displays the time and date. It has a current rating of 2A and a maximum power loss of 12.5W including the system interfaces. The unit supports Windows Embedded CE 6 operating system and TwinCAT 3 runtime (XAR) control software.
