Product Description
The CX2030-0150 embedded PC from Beckhoff is a modular control system. The CPU and power supply modules of the device can be connected and installed in either a terminal box or a control cabinet because of the product’s scalability. The device must be switched off only after the software operating on it is stopped properly. This helps to prevent loss of data on the hard disk. This unit must be disconnected from the system to which it is connected if it is not being used for tasks such as a function test. For disconnection, the first terminal behind the power supply should be removed followed by the Fieldbus connectors.
The power supply must be turned off when components are removed or fitted to the embedded PC. The device incorporates the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 64-bit operating system and has no TwinCAT control software. The controller parts must not be exchanged when the power supply is on as it can cause overvoltage or short circuits. The CX2030-0150 unit supports optimized interaction with EtherCAT with cable redundancy. It helps in implementing both simple point-to-point movements as well as complex multi-axis functions. This embedded PC also allows the realization of visualizations with advanced user interfaces through a high-performance graphics kernel. This unit can be shipped globally using trustworthy sources like DHL with a one-year warranty.
The CX2030-0150 embedded PC allows the connection of several optional Fieldbus interfaces such as a D-Sub connector, a D-Sub socket, a DVI-D connector and an Ethernet controller. It must be stored between -40°C and +85°C and operated between -25°C and 60°C . The product has a relative humidity of 95% without condensation. The embedded PC makes use of a CR2032 battery from Panasonic. The battery should be placed in the battery compartment following the correct polarity. The date and time settings of the clock must be reset when the battery is changed. The other BIOS settings do not get affected.
