Beckhoff is considered as a specialist in automation equipment manufacturing. Their wide range of products includes industrial PCs, mini PLCs, TwinCAT automation software, servo drives and basic CPU modules. The CPU modules offered by Beckhoff come in many different series and the CX2030 series is one of them.

The CX2030 series are fanless CPU modules that have no rotational component. The CX2030-0141 is part of the CX2030 series by Beckhoff. It has a high-performance Intel® Core^TM i7 processor and runs on the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB 32-bit operating system. The CX2030-0141 has several interfaces which include USB 2.0 ports, DVI-I, RJ 45 interface and 10/100/1000 Mbit/s interfaces. This CPU module has 5 diagnostics LEDs and an internal clock with battery (user-replaceable battery). The CX2030-0141 is designed to be installed in control cabinets in enclosed spaces as the CX2030-0141 is only IP 20 rated.

The CX2030-0141 has optionally expandable internal Flash memory and 2GB DDR3 main memory. It is strongly recommended to use only CFast cards that are supplied by Beckhoff. They have a higher number of read/write cycles and can operate to higher temperatures (up to 85˚C). The persistent memory for the CX2030-0141 has integrated 128 kb NOVAM. It runs on a 24 V DC power supply and has a dielectric strength of 500 V. The unit has an approx. weight of 1.165 kg. The vibrations of the CX2030-0141 CPU module conform to EN 60068-2-6 standards. The EMC immunity for the CX2030-0141 conforms to EN 61000-6-2 and has an emission as per EN 61000-6-4. The unit must never be exposed to extreme temperatures and condensation. Before operating, it is recommended that the CX2030-0141 is allowed to adjust to room temperature.
