The CX9001-1001 embedded PC is a compact and efficient controller for industrial applications designed with an Intel® IXP420 processor at 266 MHz. It runs on Microsoft Windows CE and supports TwinCAT control software. The model has 64 MB RAM expandable to 128 MB and 16 MB Flash storage, expandable up to 32 MB. It includes two 10/100 Mbit LAN interfaces that allow versatile communication for networked applications. The CX9001 series PC is powered by a 24 V DC power supply requiring a 4 A fuse for UL compliance with power supply options for I/O terminals at 2 A. The model includes a 128 kByte NOVRAM and a 4 kByte I/O DPRAM. It consumes a maximum of 6 W of power with dimensions of 59 mm x 100 mm x 91 mm and weighs approximately 250 grams. It also features an internal battery backed clock that maintains accurate time and date.

The CX9001-1001 embedded PC LED indicators offer comprehensive diagnostics for system status and connectivity. The PWR LED provides status indicators for TwinCAT operation modes: STOP (red), RUN (green) and CONFIG (blue). LAN LEDs display link/activity statuses while the L/A LED monitors traffic on the E-Bus. The HDD LED indicates Compact Flash read/write activities that facilitate easy troubleshooting and status monitoring. This Embedded PC supports K-bus I/O connections. It has a protection class of IP 20 with an operating temperature range from 0 °C to +50 °C. The device also meets EMC standards and offers shock/vibration resistance.
