The CX9000-1001 embedded PC is a compact and modular device suitable for industrial applications. It is powered by an Intel® IXP420 processor with XScale® technology and a clock rate of 266 MHz. The model is designed to operate at temperatures from 0 °C to + 50 °C and storage from – 25 °C to + 85 °C. The PC’s K-bus connection enables easy integration with Beckhoff Bus Terminals. The model supports a 24 V DC power supply accommodating a tolerance of – 15 %/+ 20 % and is UL compliant with a 4 A fuse. It offers diagnostic LEDs for Power, LAN, K-Bus and Flash access. The model has a maximum power loss of 6 W. This unit is energy efficient while delivering high performance. The CX9000 series PC module meets IP20 protection standards and complies with EMC resistance burst/ESD according to EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4. It conforms to vibration and shock resistance standards EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27/29.

The CX9000-1001 embedded PC features 16 MB of internal flash memory expandable up to 32 MB and 64 MB of RAM expandable to 128 MB. The model includes two RJ45 interfaces supporting 10/100 MBit connections. The model measures 59 mm x 100 mm x 91 mm and weighs approximately 250 g. It fits well in standard terminal boxes with a 120 mm depth thanks to its lowered connector surfaces. The PC includes a 128 kB NOVRAM and 4 kB I/O-DPRAM for non volatile memory and an internal battery backed clock for time and date management.
