This processor has only one core, however, it produces a reliable performance for applications that are limited to single-threaded operation and are used in embedded systems. This Embedded PC has a variety of options for storage with one CFast and one microSD card slot. It has a built-in 512MB microSD card for people to begin using as soon as they open the box. It has only 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and no expandable option but it has enough RAM for intended operations with Windows Embedded Compact 7 OS. The CX5120-0161 has an extensive array of interfaces: two 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet RJ45 ports, DVI-I output, four USB 2.0 for peripheral devices, and one configurable interface. This unit is passively cooled to eliminate moving parts minimize maintenance requirements, and operate without noise. The diagnostic capabilities are controlled by light-emitting diodes which show the power status, TC status, flash access, and bus status so that the overall condition of the system can be easily tracked.
