An industrial automation-ready computer featuring a single-core Intel Atom E3815 CPU with a clock speed of 1.20 GHz is the CX5120-0135 from Beckhoff's CX Embedded PC Series. This framework is perfect for certain arithmetic and control functions in a closed industrial setting.
Along with a 512 MB micro-SD card, the CX5120-0135 also features two different kinds of card readers: one for the CFast card and one for the micro-SD card. The 2 GB DDR3 RAM is not extendable and is adequate for the tasks that an integrated industrial PC can complete. This model has good connectivity features that include two RJ45 ports which have a transfer rate of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, one DVI I port for display, and four USB 2.0 ports for other devices. This also detects both E-bus and K-bus connections hence making it easy to integrate it with other systems. The power consumption of the CX5120-0135 is relatively low with a power supply voltage of 24V DC and a range of –15% to +20%.
