The Beckhoff CX Embedded PC Series model CX5120-0120 is made to provide secure and efficient solutions for a variety of uses in industrial automation.

The Intel Atom® E3815 processor, which operates at 1.20GHz, powers this integrated PC, which has dimensions of 146 x 101 x 52 mm. Its single-core setup supports tasks that need consistent performance on a small platform. Both a CFast card and a microSD card can be inserted into the sliding compartment of the camera; the latter comes with a 512 MB microSD card so that the gadget can be used immediately. Since the unit's main functions involve running the Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system, its 2GB of DDR3 RAM—which is not upgradeable—is enough. Two 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet RJ45 ports, one DVI-I for visual output, four USB 2.0 for peripheral connections, and an extra optional interface slot for interface extension are all included in the CX5120-0120 for connectivity.
