Beckhoff's Embedded PC CX Series type CX5020-0111-N030 is designed for industrial automation and has a high mechanical strength. It features an Intel Atom® Z530 CPU with a clock rate of 1.6 GHz and a single-core design for outstanding performance in a small, power-efficient package.

This section of the unit includes a Compact Flash card slot that accepts a 128MB card but can be modified to handle more based on the unique demands of the application at hand. The system memory of 512 MB RAM can also be expanded to 1 GB right from the manufacturer to facilitate the operation of many applications. This model offers full connection, including two-gigabit ethernet RJ45 ports, one DVI-D digital output port, and four USB 2.0 auxiliary ports. An additional optional interface is included to expand the communication options even further. The device's parameters are passively cooled, which not only ensures full silence but also improves dependability and stability. Diagnostic capabilities have been extensively developed, and light indicators such as power, TC status, flash access, and bus status are included for easy system control and monitoring. An integrated battery-backed clock is included to ensure that the time and date are accurately recorded and that the system runs smoothly.
