The CX2020-0113 is an all-in-one, flexible embedded PC from the Beckhoff CX Series. Equipped with an Intel Celeron 827E processor running at 1.4 GHz with 1 core, this guarantees effective processing power for the execution of control and automation tasks. The CX2020-0113 has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, expandable ex factory to 4 GB, and thereby adapts to the complexity of the application. Storage is supported by a 20 GB or 40 GB CFast flash card and can optionally be extended if needed.
It provides a wide range of connectivity and includes, among other things, the following two x RJ45 Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mbit/s for rapid communication and data transfer as well as four USB 2.0 ports, one DVI-I interface for video output, and an optional flexible interface. The cooling system is passive. The CX2020-0113 operates on Windows Embedded Compact 7, Windows Embedded Standard 7 P, or on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB. The control software supported by the unit also comprises TwinCAT 2 and TwinCAT 3 runtime (XAR).
The CX2020-0113 is connected via a power supply module which automatically recognizes both E-bus or K-bus. That ensures a seamless integration into all Beckhoff's I/O modules. A 24 V DC power supply with a tolerance from -15% to +20% is used for building up the system. This ensures that the system can cope with power fluctuations and is stable and dependable in industrial usage. The 128 kB NOVRAM will also offer secure storage for critical data, especially important in the case of power outages. The CX2020-0113 can run efficiently with a maximum power consumption of 21 W, hence energy-efficient at high performance. The Embedded PC weighs approximately 1160 g.
