The Beckhoff Embedded PC model CX1800-0202-0004 is made exclusively to handle the rigorous requirements of control systems and industrial settings. This model targets Windows Embedded Compact and Windows Embedded Standard Operating Systems and has configurable software programs that are ideal for intermingling in industrial applications.
It has Compact Flash (CFast) cards for storage to guarantee non-volatile storage of data. It has 128 MB of RAM built-in, which may be raised to accommodate more complicated or demanding tasks as needed by the system. To facilitate quick data transfer over industrial networks via an IP-based connection, an RJ45 Ethernet interface has been supplied. The terminal CX1800-0202-0004 works with Beckhoff’s modular I/O terminal which detects K-bus and E-bus modules thereby making it easy to add to the system or integrate. One unique feature is the inherent 1-second UPS, which lets you save critical data and keep information during power failures. It has a PC with LED lights for power, system, and I/O for operational diagnostics and monitoring to make sure the PC is operating efficiently and needs little to no assistance. In addition to being protected against condensation that could arise from up to 95% relative humidity, this model is designed to operate in an industrial environment with temperatures of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius. The design's power supply is dependable and runs on a 24V DC with electrical isolation that complies with industry standards for power sources.
The PC also has an RS232 port which helps in interfacing with serial devices and it also supports communication with other systems. This DIN rail-mounted device makes sure that control cabinets are used optimally. The design is shielded from dirt and minimal touch thanks to its IP20 protection grade. As it supports Beckhoff's extension modules, Fieldbus interfaces like PROFIBUS and CANopen can be included, making it appropriate for use in intricate industrial settings.
