The CX1030-0112 is part of a series known as CX Series which is designed for industrial applications mainly. It is an embedded industrial computer made by the company Beckhoff. It widely adapts Intel® Pentium® M processor that fills its core with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. This means that such a system has a very high performance and control tasks potential. Additionally, it manages to provide safety from careless ‘dirty-copied’ updates, due to its real time capabilities, which is quite fascinating! This PC has 256 MB DDR RAM which can be upgraded to 1 GB and higher is possible space, making it flexible for use in automation projects.

The CX1030-0112 is equipped with a Compact Flash card slot which allows up to 128 MB expansion for data and applications, as well as for system software. The embedded PC option is extendable by coming with 2 x RJ45 10/100 Mbit/s interfaces for convenient networking that incorporates an internal switch. The cooling module and the fan cartridge helps in maintaining the thermal condition of the system, as they come with speed control. Another special feature is also seen in fans too. These are supplied with double balls bearing, are fastened with quick removable clamps for better reliability.
