The CX1020-N060 is an Embedded PC module from the CX1020 Embedded PC series. This module provides an additional Ethernet port operating at speeds of 10/100 Mbit/s to enhance connectivity. It connects using a standard RJ45 interface and supports a maximum cable length of 20 meters when using Cat. 5 cables. It’s not compatible with the CX1100-0004 power supply module as it requires the internal PC/104 bus for power. This allows other CX system components to be connected through the internal interfaces. The model’s power supply is delivered via the system bus utilizing power modules like those in the CX1100 series. This design feature makes it ideal for field retrofitting and enhancing networking capabilities without additional power requirements.
The CX1020-N060 embedded PC module is lightweight weighing approximately 80 grams. The model is compact with dimensions of 19 mm x 100 mm x 51 mm. It operates in environments with relative humidity up to 95 % provided there is no condensation. It has a broad operating temperature range from 0 °C to + 55 °C and a storage temperature range from – 25 °C to + 85 °C. The module is designed to handle vibration and shock conforming to EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 standards. It complies with EMC standards EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4 for immunity and emission. The model has a protection rating of IP20 indicating it is designed for indoor use and protected against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
