The CX1020-0100 is a part of Beckhoff’s line of Embedded PC CX Series designed explicitly for industrial applications. It has an Intel® Celeron® M ULV processor with a clock frequency of 1 GHz and one core designed to solve tasks in small spaces.

This model has a Compact Flash memory of 128MB which is sufficient for fundamental applications and can be extended in the event of a need for more extensive software packages. The built-in memory of 256 MB DDR RAM can be upgraded to 1 GB in the factory, to meet the needs of growing applications. The unit allows for networking through two RJ45 interfaces with 10/100 Mbit/s with an internal switch integrated into the unit to facilitate the connection. It uses passive cooling to maintain workability, although active cooling can be ordered from the factory for conditions with increased thermal stress. LEDs for power, LAN link/activity, TC status, and flash access are available for diagnostics so that maintenance is simple and problems can be quickly identified.
