The Beckhoff CX1020-0021 is a rugged Embedded PC offered in the CX Series specifically created for industrial applications in the areas of control and automation. It incorporates an Intel® Celeron® M ULV processor that operates at clock frequency 1 GHz which offers dependable and effective computing resources for control applications. It supports only a single core processor which makes it ideal for real time automation.
The RAM installed on the CX1020-0021 is 256 MB DDR and it is kindly extendable to 1 GB depending on the complexity of the CAD application or other applications. For data storage the module has got a Compact Flash slot and also possesses 128 MB of flash memory but the flash is upgradeable for larger data capacity. As for the connectivity peripherals the CX1020-0021 has got 2 x RJ45 Ethernet ports supporting 10/100 Mbit/s speed with internal switch for communication improvement within industrial situations.
