Its rated data applies for an ambient temperature maximum of 45 °C. The lowest allowable temperature is 0 °C. For cooling purposes, the CP3715-0020 is equipped with an inbuilt blower. Exterior cooling is achieved through cooling fins. Equipped with a DIN rail, this item can accommodate a battery system. An optional uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is also provided for integration with the power supply unit.

This panel PC is enclosed in a strong aluminum cover that has IP 65 protection. Its superior computing power for a wide range of industrial applications is attributed to core Intel® Atom™ processors. The device has a TFT display measuring 15 inches with a resolution of 1024 x 768. This sleek and modern panel PC comes with a mounting arm that can both rotate and tilt according to user preference. The mounting arm is designed to carry the connecting cables. It is also capable of attaching from either above or below.

Wiring this device is stress free thanks to the simple design of the wiring area. This area can be accessed when the CP3715-0020 is still on the mounting arm. This allows for flawless connection of Ethernet, USB or power supply cables to the to the IP 65 connectors. The back of the cover gives access to the clock battery and the data media.
