The CP2724-0010 is a panel PC that must be installed in front of a control cabinet. This system from Beckhoff Automation GmBH has an IP 20 protection rating for the rear side. The pull-out clamping levers help in the fast installation of the system without any loose parts. In case of fire on this maintenance-free PC, a nitrogen fire extinguisher should be used to put it out. The unit may have faulty software if it boots and the software gets started but the control operates incorrectly. It must be stored and transported between a temperature range of -25°C and +65°C. There is a connector bracket that leads to the motherboard interfaces at the connection section. The system has a warranty period of one year.

The panel PC is equipped with a 24-inch TFT display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The device functions using Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system. The cable used to connect the power supply must have a cross-section of 1.5sq.mm. The protection of the power supply must be done with an insert fuse that has a maximum current rating of 16A. There are two CFast card slots that can be accessed from outside. The industrial PC can be shut down using either the Power Status output or the PC_ON input. The Power Status output value changes from 24V to 0V when the PC is shut down.

The UPS output has a live 24VDC connection even when the power supply is switched off. The plug connector of the device must not be removed or inserted during thunderstorms. The power supply has to remain switched off for at least 10 minutes before rebooting the system after use. The system must be cleaned only using a damp and soft cleaning cloth.
