The CP2718-0000 has an 18.5-inch (1366 x 768) display and is one of the most advanced panel PCs from Beckhoff. The CP2718-0000 comes with a 4 GB CFast card and operates at an extended temperature range. It can operate unhindered in a temperature range of 0 to 55ᵒC. The panel PC also comes with a highly integrated 3½-inch motherboard and can be used in conjunction with TwinCAT automation software under Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows Embedded Compact 7 or with Intel Atom® also under Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.

As Beckhoff never compromises on quality and safety standards, the CP2718-0000 comes with the international protection standards implemented. The IP 65 standard is implemented on the front while the IP 20 standard is implanted on the backside. The panel PC also has an on-board SATA RAID 1 controller and Intel® Rapid Storage Technology. At its edges, the CP2718-0000 has been constructed with aluminum metal that not only gives a fine finish but also protects the edges against damage.
