The CP7822-0001-0010 is a user-friendly CP78XX control panel released by Beckhoff under the CP Panel PC series. Equipped with three interfaces, the CP7822-0001-0010 allows seamless connection with other devices via DVI and USB. The DVI interface provides a connection link between the control panel and another computing device to display an image, video, or other digital signal. The USB connection port, on the other hand, provides a pathway for rapid data transmission between the panel and another processing unit. Since the control panel is expected to process data generated during operation, having a USB interface allows configuration of other storage devices or peripherals.

The CP7822-0001-0010 integrates a thin-film transistor display that is 15 inches long, measured diagonally. The equivalent screen resolution of this control panel is 1024 x 768 px, also called XGA resolution. XGA resolutions are common for relatively big monitors, such as laptops. With its high-quality aluminum front panel, the device has a protection category of IP 65. A protection grade of IP 65 implies immunity of the device against low-pressure water jets and very small particulates. The display features resistive touch screen technology, allowing the user to easily navigate through the panel using touch inputs.

During nominal operation, the CP7822-0001-0010 draws power from a 24 VDC source and operates safely at a range of 0 to 55 C. During transport or storage conditions, the CP7822-0001-0010 may be kept safely at an ambient temperature range of -20 to 65 degrees Celsius. The threaded holes found on the back part of the control panel allow fitting of M6 x 18 mm screws during mounting and installation.
