The CP7001-0001-0010 is a robust CP70XX control panel manufactured under Beckhoff’s CP Panel PC series. It is a compact control panel with a diagonal frame size of 12 inches and a resolution of 800 x 600 px (SGVA). It comes with a protective aluminum housing that prevents the intrusion of foreign materials and low-pressure liquids. Specifically, the CP7001-0001-0010 has 10 PLC special keys, which can be used for selecting functions quickly. Like other CP70XX panels, this control unit uses two BNC connectors and a CP-link connection. During operation, one of the CP-link connection interfaces receives the RXD signal. The other CP-link interface establishes connection with the power supply and contains the TXD signal.

During operation, both CP-link cables must be grounded to avoid electric shock. At most, the CP link cables may reach a maximum length of 100 meters. Depending on the length and radius of the cable, the applicable accessory name of the coaxial cable varies. For short distances (below 10 m), the appropriate cables are C9900-K114, C9900-K115, and C9900-K116. For applications requiring a transmission distance of up to 50 meters, the coaxial cable must at least be CP9900-K121. For long-distance applications, the biggest coaxial cable available is the CP9900-K126.

To prolong the unit’s lifespan, make sure to adhere to the recommended ambient and environmental conditions as specified in the product’s datasheet. For the CP7001-0001-0010, the recommended operating temperature range is between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the storage/transport temperature for the CP7001-0001-0010 must be lower than 65 degrees Celsius but greater than -20 degrees Celsius.
