The panel is manufactured by Beckhoff and enclosed in a solid aluminum housing but it must be kept safe from jolts and vibrations during operation and transport for a long-lasting life. The panel is IP 65 compliant and requires periodic maintenance to ensure smooth functioning. Beckhoff recommends keeping the panel electrically grounded to neutralize any potential differences during operation. The panel can be integrated with Beckhoff Device Manager to diagnose or pre-emptively sort faults with the data that the panel records during operation.
