The Beckhoff BK9105 is an EtherNet/IP Bus Coupler designed to integrate modular electronic terminal blocks with EtherNet/IP networks. The BK9105 Bus Coupler supports data transfer rates of 10 and 100 Mbit/s and features two RJ45 ports for seamless line or star topology connections. The Bus coupler for EtherNet/IP can manage up to 492 bytes of input and output data to make it suitable for both digital and analog signals. With support for 3,936 digital signals and 122 analog signals, the Beckhoff coupler can handle extensive I/O requirements. The power supply operates on 24 V DC, with a maximum K-bus current of 1750 mA, and the power contacts can handle up to 10 A. The coupler allows cascading of up to 20 units, to ensure that it can cover distances of up to 2 km. The bus coupler also automatically recognizes connected terminals, to simplify the setup and configuration process.
The BK9105 EtherNet/IP Bus coupler is configured via KS2000 software or a compatible controller like TwinCAT, to allow flexible and efficient setup.
