Beckhoff's C6 Industrial PC Series is expanded with the C6915-1004 model, a mid-performance IPC built for mechanical engineering applications that offers excellent functional capability in a small package.
The core of this PC is an Intel Atom® processor with the ability to support up to four cores; it is highly efficient in managing diverse industrial activities and provides reliable performance. Cooling is achieved through the use of cooling fins in fanless operation, making the C6915-1004 durable and functional in temperatures of up to 55 degrees Celsius, making it suited for use in industrial environments. The power source is 24-volt direct current, with an optional uninterruptible power supply that allows the system to operate during a power outage, increasing system reliability. This device's data storage is adaptable; it contains a standard flash disk that may be supplemented by an optional hard disk or a second flashcard based on the user's needs, increasing storage space and ensuring maximum data safety. The housing is made of compact aluminum, and all of the connections are located on one side of the unit, making it simple to install and service. Mounting adaptability is ensured; the unit comes with mounting plates for installation in the control cabinet and can be installed on the rear or right-hand side panels. The offered interfaces are EtherCAT and two independent Ethernet ports for establishing secure communications within industrial networks. The control system is built on TwinCAT automation software, which runs on Windows IoT Enterprise to provide a dependable and secure solution for automation activities. The system's backbone is the 3½-inch Beckhoff motherboard, designed for long-term component support.
